About Linda
I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience working in schools. I have successfully worked with children of all ages and with different abilities providing them with confidence and knowledge to achieve their full potential. I have an excellent understanding of the schemes of work used in schools and of the major exam boards, enabling me to guide and develop students at whatever stage in their education they are at. Many of the students I have taught have moved on to a higher class set and passed their GCSE with confidence.

I teach to key stage 2, 3 and GCSE students.
I start by doing an initial assessment and consultation with the student and their parents, this then leads to a personalised study plan with targets agreed by all.
My work involves lots of confidence building, activities to secure the foundations of the given topic and questions in different contexts, this gives the student courage to stretch themselves to reach or surpass their targets by answering more complex questions.
Finally, learning of the lesson is reinforced by giving homework that is relevant to the student’s needs.
