About Ryan
I am a maths student at university about to enter my fourth and final year. Believe me when I say I know what it's like to study for exams and how hard it can be to focus and find the motivation to learn and understand challenging concepts.
I believe that having a personal tutor helps direct that focus to the areas that need the most attention and enables a more efficient way of learning: studying smarter, not harder.

I believe the best way to get better at anything in life is through practice. Maths contains many challenging concepts, few of which can be understood through a single explanation. Therefore, I intend to follow a practice-based approach when teaching maths to students as it is the one I have found to be most effective throughout my academic career and what I find delivers the best results.
Although I am new to tutoring, I have had experience supervising several lower school maths lessons during my time in sixth form and believe I have the patience and understanding necessary to help and cooperate with students of varying abilities.
My 1-hour lessons are for students approaching their GCSE or AS/A level exams who feel they would benefit from tailored sessions going over topics they struggle with most.
