About Abas
I’ve been tutoring maths since I was an A-Level student, where I studied Maths and Further Maths, achieved A* in both. Since then I have helped many students succeed in their GCSE and A Level exams, as well as BTEC coursework.
Alongside my pre-university teaching experience, I am also a Visiting Lecturer in Statistics at University of London. I am also currently completing my PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning for Healthcare).
I work with students of all abilities, from Primary all the way to University, helping each one build confidence, strengthen understanding, and achieve outstanding results. My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on making maths both clear and enjoyable.

I focus on helping students achieve excellent exam results by mastering key concepts and learning how to apply them under exam conditions. Each lesson is structured around clear explanations, targeted practice, and feedback on problem-solving techniques.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to the student’s ability and exam board. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and BTEC maths students who want to boost confidence and reach top grades.
