About Emma
Hello! I’m a recent Maths graduate who is passionate about enabling young people to have the opportunity to succeed.
Throughout my educational journey, many teachers and other people offered me their help, so now it’s time for me to give back! My career is in the financial sector, however it’s important to me that I both maintain links to Maths, and use my spare time to help those who could use my skills!
Althogh I have no formal tutoring experience, I have continuously taught, explained concepts and given feedback on a peer-to-peer basis. I can make tutoring fun, collaborative and light-hearted whilst focusing on the most important points to maximise grades. In my own maths GSCE, I achieved A* with 396 UMS marks out of 400; in additional maths, I received a A* with Distinction. I know the secrets to success, so let me share them with you!
