About Niyaz
I am an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at Loughborough University offering focused Maths and Physics tuition for GCSE students. Having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 8s in GCSE Physics and Chemistry, I have a strong understanding of the subjects and the skills needed to succeed in exams.
My lessons are structured around identifying areas of weakness, explaining concepts clearly, and applying knowledge through guided practice and exam-style questions. I aim to make sessions efficient and targeted, ensuring that students develop both their understanding and problem-solving ability.
Through my academic experience at Christ’s Hospital School and studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level, I have developed strong analytical and communication skills. I am able to adapt explanations to suit different students while maintaining a clear focus on progress and achieving their goals.

My approach to tutoring is focused on building understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills. I believe that students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a method rather than simply memorising steps, so I break down difficult concepts into smaller, manageable parts and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. Sessions usually involve reviewing areas of difficulty, explaining key concepts, working through examples together, and practising exam-style questions to develop confidence and exam technique.
I am an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at Loughborough University, having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 8s in GCSE Physics and Chemistry. Through my academic experience studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level, as well as participating in academic competitions, I have developed a strong understanding of these subjects.
