Hi! My name is James I am 20 and after achieving AAAB in maths, physics, philosophy and further maths respectively, I took a year out to work and travel America, after which I began studying BA Mathematics and Philosophy student at University of Birmingham, currently attaining a 74% average. I have tutored maths, physics and RE at GCSE and A level standard at King Edward VI Aston across my gap year and first year of studies. Before beginning tuition I achieved a non-qts secondary pathway tutoring certificate. I focused on small group tutoring at the start of my career but towards exam season I was working out of a classroom where students could see me for support throughout the day, so have taught up to a full classes of students a variety of A level maths topics and some A level further maths content. My core teaching philosophy is that every individual has a unique way of learning so I am keen to adapt to what works for you. I also recently completed a teaching internship so have experience teaching classes, lesson planning, marking and have received lots of training in a variety of teaching strategies. I am incredibly passionate about my subjects and academia and want to pass that onto my students through my teaching, thank you for your consideration.
I look forward to working with you!
