About Meenakshi
Giving back to society is important for me. I participated in a programme where the aim was to facilitate social service and humanitarian aid. We did this by conducting a charity in our school, fundraising and donating to people in need, organising events in engaging and taking care of people in orphanages, care homes and people with learning needs. When I socialised with the people experiencing such circumstances about how they feel, most of them replied that they would like to lead a normal lifestyle, but did not have enough resources and had to depend on people. This made me realise that education can play a vital role associated with various benefits that help an individual to make their own decision and lead their lives. By being part of the initiative, I had built up an ardent desire to improve and enhance the lives of such people with an association of teaching and technological revolution. This made me build a genuine interest and passion towards the interdisciplinary field of teaching and innovation. I was a wellbeing ambassador to help support and promote wellbeing by developing safe spaces and personal talks for people to highlight their concerns and for them to feel happy and safe. Through this association, I was able to develop my communication skills and ability to handle people with different circumstances. I challenged myself to take part in the Maths senior challenge, Biology Olympiad and the Cambridge Chemistry challenge which boosted my motivation towards my learning. I was also a part of the maths ambassador team where I have contributed towards assessing and helping children in year 7 and 8 during maths clinic that improved my level of teamwork and confidence. As a member of the Trafford Anti Racism Alliance project, I worked to raise awareness about inequality and celebrate all cultures around the world, where we organised a bake sale to raise money for the cause of sickle cell and to show racism the red card. I enjoy classical dance and Carnatic music which helps me improve aspects of life- being peaceful, calm, and feeling complete when I perform them. They have helped me build my personality and my physical and mental health. I enjoy art as a creative outlet which makes me feel therapeutic. Through all these involvements and participations, I was able to overcome my limits, go beyond my potential, conquer my shyness, and believe in myself. I hope I could be a part in bringing a change to make someone's life more enhanced by using my teaching skills and technology to create a positive impact on a student’s life through this profession.

Sessions involve explicit teaching, explaining concepts directly and providing clear instructions. This approach tailors teaching methods and content to meet the diverse needs of learners. Active learning by encouraging student participation through discussions, problem-solving and doing past papers in order to practise and master the subject. Inquiry-based learning where students can explore topics by asking questions. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour 15 minutes. During my schooling, I expanded my knowledge and have a sound knowledge in delivering lectures and leading small group projects as part of the curriculum that helped to develop my communication skills and confidence. It has also increased my ability to handle situations in a patient and polite manner. Lessons are focused for students studying GCSE and A Level Maths and Chemistry. Fee per session-£30
