About Lorelei
I have BS in Mathematics from Tulane University with three years experience as a calculus supplemental instructor. At that time I made lesson plans and held study sessions for over 500 students. This experience gave me a more clear understanding of professor expectations for undergraduate students. I guarantee that with my help, you can succeed!
I also hold an MA in Translation and Interpreting. My interdisciplinary background has given me experience working with people from all areas of study. I understand that mathematics can seem daunting to someone who is more focused on a field in the humanities or arts. I try to make my tutoring as accessible as possible to those who have backgrounds in non-STEM fields.

I have a passion for mathematics teaching and believe that mathematics should be accessible to everyone. I tailor my lessons to what you are focusing on and struggling with and will create unique plans to guide you through specific problems you are facing. My goal is to help fill in any knowledge gaps which may be keeping you from understanding the material you are studying.
