About Maithreyi
I am a Mathematics undergraduate with a strong passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in math and related subjects. I enjoy making difficult concepts easier to understand through step-by-step explanations and personalized teaching methods.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and improve at their own pace. I can help with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, Physics, homework support, and exam preparation for middle school, high school, and introductory college-level students.
My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine understanding of the subject.

As a Mathematics undergraduate, I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and teaching approach. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them truly understand concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning pace. I break down difficult concepts into simple steps, use real examples, and focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced problems. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and develop problem-solving skills independently.
A typical lesson includes:
• Reviewing previous concepts and clearing doubts
• Explaining new topics step-by-step
• Solving practice problems together
• Teaching shortcuts, exam strategies, and logical thinking methods
• Providing additional practice and guidance when needed
What sets me apart is my patience, clear explanations, and ability to adapt lessons based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Since I recently completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematics, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts in a relatable and easy-to-understand way.
