About Cassidy
My passion for mathematics began with an appreciation for logical structure and problem-solving. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I developed strong analytical skills. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped students overcome fear and build confidence through clear, supportive instruction.
I believe effective math teaching requires patience and adaptability. Many learners struggle due to gaps in understanding, so I focus on rebuilding foundations carefully. I encourage questions and discussion to ensure students feel supported.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring mathematical applications and problem-solving methods. Teaching mathematics is fulfilling because I witness learners develop confidence, clarity, and pride in their growing abilities.

Mathematics becomes approachable when learners understand the reasoning behind formulas rather than memorizing procedures. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus through clear explanation and structured practice. I guide students to see patterns, relationships, and logical connections that make problem-solving more intuitive and less stressful. Each concept is introduced carefully to ensure clarity before moving forward.
Lessons are tailored to individual learning needs. Beginners focus on strengthening fundamentals, number sense, and basic operations with supportive guidance. Intermediate learners work on algebraic manipulation, word problems, functions, and graphical interpretation. Advanced learners refine problem-solving speed, exam strategies, multi-step reasoning, and analytical accuracy. Practice problems, step-by-step walkthroughs, and reflective discussion are included in every session.
Math lessons also build confidence, patience, and analytical thinking. As students gain understanding, they approach problems with greater calm and independence. My goal is to help learners trust their reasoning, develop resilience, and view mathematics as a skill they can master through understanding and practice.
