About Riley
My fascination with mathematics began in early childhood, inspired by curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving. I completed a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining strong theoretical foundations and practical problem-solving experience. Over 10 years, I have guided students from foundational topics to advanced problem-solving, helping them achieve mastery, confidence, and analytical skill. I teach with patience, clarity, and flexibility, using visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts tangible. I encourage independent reasoning, exploration, and curiosity, fostering both understanding and self-confidence. Lessons emphasize deep conceptual understanding and logical thinking over memorization, promoting long-term retention and critical analysis. Outside teaching, I engage in applied mathematics research, practical problem-solving projects, and educational workshops. Integrating these experiences into lessons makes content relevant and stimulating. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, developing confidence and analytical ability, is the most rewarding aspect of my career and motivates my continual dedication.
