About Sapna
My passion for mathematics began at a young age when I was captivated by patterns, logical reasoning, and the satisfaction of solving problems step by step. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, focusing on algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving techniques that are essential for academic success and real-world reasoning. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students at all levels, from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them build conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and confidence in problem-solving. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, clarity, and the creation of a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, active participation, and independent thinking. I adapt lessons to each learner’s abilities, interests, and learning pace. Beginners build foundational knowledge through visual aids, step-by-step examples, and interactive exercises that promote understanding and confidence. Intermediate learners develop problem-solving strategies, multi-step reasoning, and practical applications of mathematical principles. Advanced students tackle complex SAT-style questions, advanced algebraic and geometric challenges, and higher-order problem-solving tasks that require analytical thinking and creativity. I focus on fostering a growth mindset, helping students develop resilience, curiosity, and a love for mathematics.
