About Isabel
My passion for mathematics began with an early fascination for patterns, numbers, and logical structures, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students across diverse academic levels, helping them develop conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and confidence in applying mathematical principles to both academic and practical scenarios. My teaching approach emphasises clarity, patience, and interactive engagement to ensure that students not only grasp the concepts but enjoy exploring them.
I design lessons that integrate theoretical explanations, worked examples, visual demonstrations, and guided problem-solving exercises. Students are encouraged to question, analyse, and apply concepts creatively, building both competence and independence. This method fosters critical thinking and ensures long-term retention of knowledge while maintaining a supportive learning environment.
