About Maelle
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 13 years, I have taught students across school and university levels, helping them build strong mathematical foundations. My passion for mathematics comes from a deep interest in logic, patterns, and problem-solving. Teaching allows me to share this passion and help students overcome fear and confusion in the subject.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, structured learning, and conceptual understanding. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind formulas rather than memorizing them. I design lessons that build strong foundations and encourage independent thinking. This helps students develop confidence and long-term retention of knowledge.
Outside teaching, I enjoy solving advanced mathematical problems, exploring theoretical concepts, and studying applications of mathematics in science and technology. These interests help me keep my lessons engaging and up to date. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My goal is to help learners build a lifelong connection with mathematics.
