About Max
My fascination with mathematics began in childhood, drawn to patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This inspired me to earn a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. Over 8 years, I have taught students at all levels—from elementary school math and middle school math to SAT math, algebra, geometry, and Calculus—helping them develop confidence, competence, and enjoyment in mathematics. I emphasize clarity, engagement, and adaptability in my teaching. Lessons incorporate visual aids, practical examples, and interactive exercises to ensure concepts are fully understood. I encourage independent thinking, curiosity, and stepwise mastery to empower learners in each session. Outside the classroom, I explore puzzles, research, and real-world applications of mathematics to enrich lessons. Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners gain analytical skills, structured reasoning, and confidence, while developing a genuine appreciation for the beauty and logic of mathematics.
