About Talia
My passion for mathematics began in my early schooling when I was drawn to the beauty of numbers, patterns, and problem-solving logic. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Applied Mathematics, where I deepened my knowledge of algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied analytical techniques. Over the past 9 years, I have guided learners across levels, helping beginners gain confidence and advanced students refine logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
I focus on structured, patient, and personalized teaching. Beginners grasp foundational concepts gradually, intermediate learners tackle multi-step reasoning and applied problem-solving, while advanced students refine proofs, optimization, and analytical thinking. My approach emphasizes patience, clarity, and encouragement, fostering independent, confident learners.
Beyond teaching, I engage with applied mathematical projects, research reading, and real-world problem modeling. Integrating these experiences into lessons makes learning practical, relevant, and engaging. Watching students build analytical skills, confidence, and critical thinking over time is profoundly rewarding.
