About Daniel
Hi, I’m Daniel, a passionate math tutor with years of experience helping students build confidence and mastery in mathematics. As a calculus tutor, I’ve guided dozens of students through challenging material—from algebra and trigonometry to calculus and differential equations—by making complex topics feel approachable and logical. I believe that every student learns differently, so my approach combines patience, structure, and real-world examples to make math both understandable and engaging. Watching students go from uncertainty to “I get it now!” moments is what drives me to teach. My goal is not just to help you pass your next exam, but to help you truly think like a mathematician and see the beauty in problem-solving.

As someone with hours upon hours of in-person tutoring experience and who is currently enrolled in upper-division math courses at UCI, I know first hand what it's like to be a student learning math and new concepts and I'm here to give you all of my best tips to succeed! A typical lesson plan with me would be to first address your immediate concerns and go over problems that you bring up. After that we would go through new examples and work on a study plan. My lessons are for anyone learning math, I have experience tutoring children and adults.
