About Abbie
I am a third year maths Student at the University of Bath with a passion of going into lecturing and academia in the future. Part of the motivation of this is inspiring future mathematicians and helping people improve. I want to help students leave the lesson with a new found passion in maths and to be more confident in themselves as a mathematician and a student. I have taught for many years and have seen students grown from struggling to understand maths questions to now being able to confidently answer them.

I have been teaching for 2+ years with a range of students from those looking to just pass to those wanting to get an A*. The lessons are typically an hour long where we will go through the area of interest chosen by the student and then focus on how to answer exam questions. It will begin with me doing my own examples then to getting the student to do a guided experience to see understanding and get them to answer one alone. Once we have done a topic (even if this takes more lessons) we will then move on to another topic of interest or general exam questions if they are having difficulties.
I am able to take on any Secondary aged students
