About Ava
My love for mathematics developed early, fueled by curiosity about patterns, structures, and logical reasoning. I pursued a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, which gave me a robust foundation for teaching and research. Over 10 years, I have helped students at all levels develop conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their abilities. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using visual aids, examples, and stepwise guidance to match each student’s pace and style. My focus is on making abstract ideas tangible and showing learners how to connect concepts to solve problems effectively. Every lesson emphasizes understanding, reasoning, and confidence-building. Outside teaching, I engage in applied research, mathematical modeling, and professional development to keep my knowledge current. This allows me to bring fresh, real-world perspectives into the classroom. Helping students progress from uncertainty to mastery in mathematics is deeply fulfilling, and watching them grow in analytical thinking and self-assurance is the highlight of my work.
