About Arohan
I have completed Integrated MSc in mathematics from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. After completing my master's degree, I worked as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant for one year and seven months at Western University, Canada. As part of my duties I mentored undergraduate students, both in person and online. I gave lectures, proctored, created marking schemes, graded assignments and exams, and supervised a student project titled "On the construction of the real number system". Apart from this, I also attended teaching workshops which involved courses in efficient teaching methodologies and lecturing peers on topics of interest.

I have 1 year and 7 months experience of working as a teaching and research assistant at Western University, Canada. My courses are primarily aimed at students in +1, +2 (11th and 12th) and students pursuing their bachelor’s degrees in sciences and engineering.
My teaching style follows a top-down approach i.e., I first provide the students with the big picture or what we call as the "feel" for the topic and then work with them through the details. I learned this method while working as a teaching assistant. Being a student myself, and having recently learned the topics, I have a clear idea about the problems that students face in a particular area.
My typical course structure starts with a general review of the subject or the "big picture", then slowly it builds on the technicalities of the subject from ground up.
