About Mathew
I hold a B.Sc. (Ed) in Mathematics Education and have a strong passion for helping children build confidence in learning. I gained hands-on teaching experience through Teach For Nigeria, a global education leadership programme under the Teach For All network. This role allowed me to work directly with diverse learners, develop tailored teaching strategies, and improve educational outcomes in underserved communities. I’m also experienced in delivering virtual lessons and adapting content to suit individual needs and learning styles. My goal is to make Maths, STEM, and Computing accessible and enjoyable for every child I work with.

As a graduate of B.Sc. (Ed) Mathematics Education, I bring a calm, patient, and structured approach to teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet the needs of Primary School pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, helping them build confidence in Mathematics, Algebra foundations, STEM awareness, and basic Computing skills. I use clear explanations, relatable examples, and interactive questioning to support understanding and retention. Each lesson typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the pupil’s attention span and learning goals. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, using visual aids, everyday scenarios, and positive reinforcement to encourage progress. With my background in both classroom teaching and virtual support, I’m confident in creating a friendly and focused learning space where young learners feel safe to ask questions and enjoy Maths and STEM subjects.
