As a tutor, my approach is patient and personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I strive to tailor my teaching method and techniques to fit each student's unique needs and learning style. My goal is to help my students not only understand the material, but also develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their studies.
A typical lesson with me might begin with a review of the previous lesson to ensure that all concepts have been understood. Next, I will introduce any new material, using a variety of techniques such as examples, explanations, and interactive exercises to help students grasp the concepts. I may also provide additional resources such as worksheets or practice problems for students to work on independently. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process.
As a native Russian speaker, I am also able to offer my lessons in Russian. This can be especially beneficial for students who are more comfortable learning in their native language or who are looking to improve their Russian language skills.
I am comfortable teaching students of all ages, from middle school to high school. I have experience teaching a range of math subjects, including algebra, geometry, precalculus, statistics, and trigonometry. I can also provide support for students preparing for Advanced Placement (AP) exams or the SAT Math test.
Overall, my goal as a tutor is to help my students achieve their academic goals and develop a love of learning.
