About Jacob
I am a Mathematics tutor with more than five years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics. Over the years, I have worked with learners at advanced high school and early university levels. My focus lies in teaching mathematical logic, proof theory, and formal reasoning. These subjects form the backbone of higher mathematics and critical thinking. I guide students through propositional logic, predicate logic, and foundational set theory. Each concept is carefully explained and reinforced with exercises. To make learning engaging, I introduce paradoxes and problem-solving challenges. These spark curiosity and strengthen abstract reasoning. I have experience with students from philosophy, computer science, and pure mathematics. Each discipline brings unique perspectives, and I adapt lessons to match their goals. My approach in teaching Mathematics begins with breaking down concepts into easy steps. I focus on core ideas before moving into advanced problem-solving. Calculus and pre-calculus are major strengths of my teaching.
