About Yavuz
My name is Yavuz. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, which I completed with a full academic scholarship at the top university in Turkey. I have more than 10 years of experience tutoring students from middle school to college level.
I enjoy helping students understand math in a clear and simple way. Many students feel that math is difficult, but with the right explanation and practice, it can become much easier. My goal is to build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and help students achieve better academic results.

My goal is to make math clear, simple, and less stressful for students. I focus on explaining concepts step by step so students truly understand the ideas instead of just memorizing formulas.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing the student’s questions or homework, then we work through examples together and practice similar problems. I adjust my teaching style based on the student’s level and learning pace.
I work with students from middle school to college, and I can help with topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT Math preparation. My goal is to build confidence and help students improve their problem-solving skills.
