About Gina
In June 2019 I received my Abitur certificate, but I didn't want to study immediately after my Abitur and therefore decided to do a gap year first. As a result, I went to the USA as an au pair in July 2019. An au pair year usually doesn't have that much in common with tutoring, but from March 2020 I started teaching the children from home, as schools were closed from then on and the children had to be taught from home. So my host parents asked me to go through the material with the children and see that they understood everything. In particular, I supported the children in math and English lessons, as well as geography and Latin. Since I did this job for around 3 months, 5 days a week, I consider myself quite suitable for the job of a tutor. I've been back in Munich since the end of August 2020 and would like to continue working as a tutor, because I actually enjoyed it and love working with students.

My lessons are aimed at students in grades 5 to 11. Above all, my lessons should intensify the material discussed and close the students' questions and gaps. Personally, I've made the experience myself that the sometimes very theoretical math lessons are not understandable for everyone, because I often explained the material to some of my classmates again, especially before schoolwork and later exams. Many people understand science better when the theoretical is explained using examples, so my lessons are based on many examples and exercises that explain the theoretical to the students very easily.
