About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matthew! I hold an Honors BS Degree in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Computer Science. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from Johns Hopkins University. I’m passionate about helping students not just improve academically, but truly understand the material. Whether it’s math, science, or any other subject, I strive to make learning both engaging and effective. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them in a clear, understandable way. Rather than just focusing on formulas, I ensure my students grasp the core principles, so they feel confident in applying their knowledge to real-world problems. This method creates a strong foundation for long-term success. With extensive experience in math and science, including subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Physics, I’m confident I can help you excel. I’ve also excelled in standardized testing, scoring 1500 on the SAT and 34 on the ACT, so I understand exactly what it takes to succeed in these areas. If you’re looking for a tutor who can make complex topics accessible, enjoyable, and effective, I’d love to help you achieve your academic goals. Feel free to reach out for a lesson or any questions you may have—I’ll get back to you within 24 hours!
