About Holly
I am a final year history student, going on to do a masters in History. Although new to academic tutoring, I have been teaching and mentoring young people throughout my time in secondary education. This included mentoring several students, in order to help them pass their GCSEs.

Whilst my teaching varies student to student, passion and enthusiasm for the subject does not. A typical lesson with me will begin with plotting out the specific goals of the student. Then exploring the underlying themes of the topic, narrowing down our focus, to the student's specific goals. Depending on the student, exam/essay practice can often provide a valuable tool particularly for students who are working towards a qualification, and this is something I encourage.
