About Maya
I am very passionate about the environment (as can been seen by the degrees I’ve chosen to pursue), and within this I have dedicated my academics to the study of water physics and chemistry!
I love helping students understand how things works and am I usually the one helping my classmates and colleagues during revision time for exams. I assure you that working with me will get you the results you want!

My approach is to first figure out what you already know and understand within the subject so we don’t waste time going over it. It is also important for me to understand what your goals are so I know what to work towards with you. I then prefer to go over examples and past papers because, in my experience, students learn better through solving problems and learning through examples.
I have been tutoring for 2 years now (university, A-level, and GCSE students) and specialize in chemistry and environmental sciences.
I offer lessons that range from an hour to an hour and a half in length. Any longer and I find that students tend to lose focus.
