Class and studying did not always come naturally to me, but I fell in love with nursing and the skills that come with it. I had to work twice as hard to get better grades in class than I did in the clinical setting. I now teach new graduate nurses in a nurse residency program, ensuring they have the competency and skills to provide great patient care.
