About Shifa

My name is Shifa. I hold a bachelor's degree in Education and Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Mathematics with an overall score of 91%, earning the University Gold Medal as the top-ranked student. My dedication to academic pursuits has been recognized through the Govt. funded DST-Inspire Scholarship Program in 2020, which chooses the best synopsis among the Gold Medalists of various universities.
In my last five years of tutoring, I have taught students of American Curriculum, British curriculum as well as CBSE and ICSE.

I had also mentored and trained over 50 students for the International Mathematics Olympiad and coordinated field trips to develop students' understanding of real-world applications of mathematics.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have also acquired practical skills and teaching methodologies through relevant certifications, including:

About the lesson

As a math tutor, my lessons are tailored to meet each student's individual needs, ensuring that I start at their current level of understanding and build their confidence from there. I employ a simple method of breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and using real-world examples to make the material relatable. This approach not only demystifies math but also empowers students to tackle problems independently. Personalisation is what stands out in my lessons with students, which has led to many success stories in the past seven years.
