About Kory
I’m passionate about helping students become more confident in their writing and their ability to understand literature. I have experience working as a writing tutor and have helped students with essays, organization, grammar, research, and developing their own voice. My background in counseling has also taught me how important patience, encouragement, and meeting people where they are can be. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. My goal is to make writing and literature feel less intimidating and more enjoyable.

My lessons are focused on making writing and literature feel approachable and less overwhelming. I like to meet students where they are, figure out how they learn best, and build from there. I can help with essays, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, literature analysis, and organizing ideas. I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident in their writing and more comfortable expressing their own ideas.
