I am an experienced tutor and really love my classes as it allows me to speak to a range of students and share my knowledge and experience. I am a very talkative person that can easily relate to people as I have travelled to many countries and worked with people from around the world. I provide a tailor-made lesson plan with customised lesson notes and exam questions. It is important to create a strong base knowledge of a subject before building and developing the understanding. I have over 10 years of tuition experience and have developed a key strategy in ensuring that students push the barriers of their potential. I have a BSc in Physiology and MSc in Neurological Sciences. I spend 60% of each lesson going through content and ensuring that the student understands what is being taught, then the remaining 40% will be spent going through questions to solidify understanding. It is essential that we also focus on exam technique as this is key in ensuring high grades. The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour to 90 minutes; however, this can be adjusted according to the student's timetable and preference. I mostly support students in KS3 through to A level, supporting school and university entrance exams, but I also have supported students from KS1 onwards.
