About Sam
I've had a lifelong hobby to make, specifically video games. It's always fascinated me how much creative energy can be sunk into the medium starting off as a community modder at the age of 14. Since then, I have progressed this into a career where I studied Game Design for four years at masters level followed by industry in the simulation genre.
I'm a very creative person who always strives for the most exciting way to realise my goals. I've always loved my creative outlets, whether that be works of fiction or working for charities.
I am a strong advocate for neurodiversity recognition and feel everyone should be able to get stuck into their favourite creative field, regardless of who you are.

My teaching methodology is simple- grasp a firm understanding of where your skills are at, identify weak areas and abstract complex soft and hard skills in a way you can conceptually understand at a pace you feel is suitable.
Lessons last 60 minutes, with longer bookings available should your tuition require more intense sessions. Neurodivergent students are most welcome as I am able to offer specialised support for any struggles you may encounter along the way.
I have 6 years of experience practising and teaching game development to my peers and students, ensuring a holistic approach is taken covering many areas of game development.
My lessons are suitable for ages 10 and above, whether you're a novice looking to take that hobby and apply it as a career, or a graduate looking to take their skills further, there's something for everyone I can teach regardless of how skilled you already are.
