About Elyce
I discovered my passion for science while studying for my GCSEs, which inspired me to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences after my A-levels. I remember how challenging it was to struggle with difficult topics, and what truly made a difference for me was one-on-one support where I could ask questions repeatedly until I fully understood the material.
I believe that exploring questions beyond the syllabus can deepen understanding, something that’s often challenging in a classroom setting. This is one of the reasons I love tutoring—offering personalised support to help students thrive in whatever way they need.
I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Bristol last summer and am excited to continue engaging with the subjects I’m passionate about while helping current students enjoy and excel in their studies. I am passionate about providing an exciting learning environment to help you achieve your best!

I tailor my tutoring approach to fit each student’s unique learning style, ensuring that lessons are engaging and effective. I believe that asking questions—no matter how big or small—is essential for understanding, so I encourage an open dialogue throughout sessions. My goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where learning feels enjoyable and stress-free!
Lessons typically last between 45 minutes to an hour, so there is plenty of time to cover topics, and go over anything again where necessary. I have experience tutoring GCSE-level chemistry and am now offering support for both GCSE and A-Level students in chemistry and biology.
