About Nicole
Nicole Rodriguez is a classically trained operatic coloratura soprano who studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and earned her Master’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has performed alongside renowned mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade, appeared on A Prairie Home Companion, and received recognition from the Robert Mondavi Competition and the Classical Singer Competition. An exceptional asset as a teacher, Nicole brings a rare combination of artistry and pedagogy to her work. Although she performs across many styles, her rigorous classical and operatic training—combined with a strong foundation in music theory—allows her to offer both the analytical, formal side of music education and the creative, expressive side of performance. This dual approach enables students to build strong technical skills while developing confidence, musicality, and artistic individuality.
