About Poornima Prasad
As an individual, I have always believed that dedication and passion can take one a long way in life both professionally and personally. Education should include building self-awareness and unlearning of behavior patterns that are maladaptive. Professionally, I am currently working towards my license to work as a Psychotherapist in Canada and volunteering as a distress line Counselor.

My other experiences include teaching English and Math to kids with Specific Learning Disabilities, life skills and behaviour management among children with autism.
I was involved in a country-wide research project on Dementia in India.
