About Malcolm
My 9+ years of teaching and professional experience have given me a deep appreciation for education and the positive impact a teacher can have on a student's life. I teach singing to school and college students and am passionate about helping learners develop their voices, confidence, creativity, and love for music.
My lessons are designed to be simple, engaging, and practical. I guide students through breathing techniques, pitch, rhythm, vocal control, pronunciation, tone, expression, and performance skills. I break difficult concepts into smaller steps so students can understand them easily.
I believe every learner is different. Some students may need more help with technical skills, while others may need encouragement to perform confidently. I take time to understand each learner and adapt my teaching according to their level and goals.
One of the most memorable milestones in my career has been helping students prepare for school and college events. Supporting learners through practice and watching them confidently perform after overcoming their fears has been deeply rewarding.
I also encourage students to develop their individual style. I want learners to build strong technical foundations while also expressing their own emotions and personality through singing.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, discipline, and continuous improvement. I encourage students to focus on their personal progress instead of comparing themselves with others. Every small improvement is an achievement worth celebrating.
I believe music education can help students become more confident, creative, focused, disciplined, and expressive. These qualities can benefit them in their studies and future careers.
After 9+ years of experience, I continue to feel inspired by teaching. My goal is to make every singing lesson meaningful and enjoyable while helping students become confident learners and performers.

I believe Singing education should be enjoyable, supportive, and purposeful. My teaching approach combines Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management to help students develop vocal technique and confidence together. I adjust my lessons according to the student's level, interests, learning pace, and goals.
Motivation is used to help students believe in their ability to improve. I encourage them to set realistic goals and recognize their progress. I provide positive reinforcement and practical suggestions for improvement. When students make mistakes, I help them understand what they can learn from them instead of allowing mistakes to affect their confidence.
Communication creates a strong connection between teacher and student. I encourage questions and open discussion. I explain breathing, warm-ups, pitch, rhythm, tone, pronunciation, dynamics, articulation, and expression in simple English. I also use demonstrations and practical examples to help students understand how techniques work.
Creativity helps students become more expressive singers. I use songs, vocal exercises, improvisation, listening activities, rhythm practice, and performance exercises. Students are encouraged to explore their own sound and understand the emotions behind songs. Along with Singing, I can also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm, basic musicianship, and performance preparation.
Time Management helps students practice efficiently. I guide them in creating routines that fit their available time and learning goals. We divide practice into warm-ups, technique, songs, and revision. By setting small targets and tracking progress, students develop discipline and independence. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, expressive, organized, and motivated singers.
