About Eunice
With 17 years of experience as a violin instructor, I have had the privilege of helping students of all ages and abilities develop their musical skills, confidence, and passion for the violin. With 17 years of experience teaching violin, I believe that every student has the potential to become a confident and expressive musician with the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and personalised, ensuring that every lesson is adapted to your individual goals, experience level, and learning style. Whether you are learning the violin for personal enjoyment, school, examinations, auditions, or professional development, I will help you progress at a pace that suits you.
My lessons combine strong technical foundations with enjoyable, practical learning. I focus on essential skills such as posture, bow hold, intonation, tone production, rhythm, sight-reading, music theory, scales, and expressive performance. I demonstrate each technique clearly, break challenging concepts into manageable steps, and provide constructive feedback throughout every lesson to help you improve with confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up and technical exercises, followed by scale practice and technique development. We then work on repertoire chosen to match your level and musical interests, addressing interpretation, musicality, and performance skills. Every session concludes with a review of your progress, personalised practice strategies, and achievable goals to keep you motivated between lessons.
