About Héloïse
Self-taught since college, I took the Japanese option during my three years in high school. With the COLIBRI association, I went to live for 3 weeks with a host family, attending classes with my high school correspondent.
I passed the BAC with a perfect score in Japanese specialty and I chose to do a Japanese LLCER license in Lyon. Lyon welcomes a very large number of Asian students, in particular Japanese (and Korean), which facilitates the practice of the language.
Going to Japan for the second time, I realized that I was finally able to be independent. The covid 19 epidemic prevented me from studying for a year at a Japanese university in Kyoto, however it did not prevent me from continuing to communicate very regularly with my friends and correspondents of Japanese nationality.

I base my courses on the curiosity and the facilities of the learner. Play is an important thing for me when learning. If there is no fun, it becomes difficult to progress.
Depending on the level, pace, desires and projects of each, several books can serve as a reference for learning. However, the lessons remain very free.
We can study calligraphy or the Japanese accent; read manga in Japanese, play games, origami using Japanese or be more strict and learn vocabulary lists, do homework or exams.
The course format is therefore compatible with both a group and an individual person.
