About Jimmy
I am a Master's Student at the University of Cambridge (St John's College). I obtained BA (Hons) from QMUL with First Class Honours and Principal Prize, a very prestigious academic award (only two recipients from the apartment). During my study, I have received First Class grades across all modules, including IR theory (gained one of the highest grades ever awarded by the apartment- 90 %), Political Violence and Liberal Modernity, Radical Politics, Technology Politics...etc. My academic focus includes Identity Politics, Critical IR theories (Post-Structuralism), Constructivism, Neo-Realism, Discourse Studies, American Foreign Policies, cross-Strait Relations, and Nitzsche's Philosophy (Nihilism). My work has been published on academic sites as well.
During my study, I have also worked as an International Affairs and Law Assistant in Legislator Office- Foreign and National Defense Committee and Policy Researcher in National Security Youth Think Tank.

My lessons are modelled on the University Seminar style, where critical thinkings and discussions are the main focus. Specific teaching methods will be based on students' inquiry types.
We can go through essay questions together or else discuss particular IR theories. After the lesson, students will gain better knowledge of IR and academic writing skills.
I have tutored undergraduate students, including
* International Relations (including IR Theory, War Studies, International Organisations Studies...etc.)
* A-Level English Literature
* Academic Writing
* English as Second Language
* University Application (Personal Statement and CV)
Tutoring averages 6 hours per week. Students demonstrate great improvements in the above areas, including successful application to LSE.
