Heya my name is Maya. I am currently enrolled in a masters program in Biopharmaceutical and Chemical Analysis in TUS . I have a master in Brewing and Distilling and a bachelors in chemistry with a minor in biology. I have research experience in synthetic chemistry and computational chemistry. I won second place in Ireland for a biochemistry project on microplastics in the ocean. I love sharing my passion for chemistry with people. As well as my passion of chemistry, I really enjoy teaching students, and I have experience teaching neuro-diverse students.

My approach to tutoring is rooted in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. I employ a student-centric approach, tailoring my techniques and teaching methodology to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I prioritize clarity in explanations, active problem-solving, and real-world applications to make complex subjects accessible and relatable. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes to maintain focus and effective learning. With a degree in the subject and several years of tutoring experience, I'm well-equipped to assist students at various levels, from secondary school to college and even adult learners. My aim is to empower students to not only grasp the subject matter but also to cultivate a lasting passion and proficiency in the subject.
