About Niall
Like all Math teachers and tutors I am way too enthusiastic about the subject! What comes with every passion is wanting to pass it on. I have worked with younger people in a number of different setting and have grown a second passion of helping them realise and reach their potential through building confidence.
I have had both amazing and not so amazing Maths teachers, in addition to being raised by a Maths teacher mum (who fits into the former category...obviously ) so I know the benefits of having a nurturing and supportive role in the journey that is academic Maths.
I am very down to earth, approachable and supportive. I want you to achieve your goals as much as you do and together I have no doubt we will.

"When am I ever going to use this!?"
Is what I hear all the time...and I get it! I believe that Maths and Physics are best explained by showing how they apply to real life. By doing this it gives those scary logarithmic functions or probability distributions some much needed context!!
And when we put this together, with a little bit of factorising, rationalising and differentiation we get CONFIDENCE! The most important thing in Maths and the thing that will catapult you to where you should be!
My normal lesson is 60 minutes but can be flexible on a case-by-case basis. One time lessons are available for those maybe struggling with a single topic. For general help with the subject I would recommend 2 or 3 lessons per week to give us enough time to work alongside your lessons in school. For online lessons I use software that can be used by both of us to interact on the same documents.
I recently graduated top of my year with a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering. I studied Maths, Physics and Technology & Design at A level achieving A*AA.
I have 4 years experience of tutoring, both in person and online. Most of this has been with GCSE Maths students. I have also worked with A Level Maths and GCSE Physics students. I am also open to younger students not quite at GCSE level yet!
P.S. I am also very lucky (in some ways) to have a Maths teacher as my Mum so have access to amazing resources through her!
