About Ammar

I am a multidisciplinary educator, researcher, engineer, trainer, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in research, technology, professional training, programming, and applied problem solving.
My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, and a PhD in Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence. This combination allows me to connect programming with engineering, information systems, research, data, business, and real technical contexts.
Over the years, I have completed hundreds of research and technical projects and supported or supervised hundreds of university learners, researchers, and professionals. I am experienced in translating complex technical ideas into clear, structured explanations adapted to different backgrounds and levels.
For programming specifically, I bring more than 25 years of experience from problem modeling through implementation. I teach Python as a language for genuine programming competence - including foundations, structured problem solving, functions, object-oriented design, debugging, files, automation, and project development. Where relevant, I also support Java and Visual Basic / VB.NET and help learners transfer concepts across languages rather than memorize isolated syntax.
I teach in English, French, and Arabic and adapt my explanations to the learner’s academic background, profession, technical confidence, software environment, and goals.

Programming becomes much easier when you understand the logic behind the code: what each statement does, why a solution is structured in a particular way, how data moves through the program, and how to find the cause of an error. My lessons are built around that principle: understand first, code with purpose, test carefully, and become progressively independent.
I support complete beginners, school and university students, adult learners, professionals, and experienced users who want structured guidance in Python programming, broader programming fundamentals, Java, Visual Basic / VB.NET, automation, debugging, and project development.
Depending on your goals, we can work on:
• Python foundations: syntax, variables, data types, operators, input/output, expressions, and writing clear first programs
• Control flow: conditions, loops, nested logic, and turning a verbal problem into a step-by-step computational solution
• Core data structures: strings, lists, tuples, sets, dictionaries, and choosing an appropriate structure for the task
• Functions: parameters, return values, scope, decomposition, reusable code, and designing programs as manageable components
• Modules, packages, environments, imports, documentation, and building a clean development workflow
• Object-oriented programming: classes, objects, attributes, methods, encapsulation, inheritance, composition, and when OOP is genuinely useful
• Files and structured data: text files, CSV, JSON, paths, exceptions, and reliable input/output workflows
• Debugging and error diagnosis: syntax errors, runtime errors, logical errors, tracebacks, breakpoints, test cases, and systematic fault isolation
• Exceptions, validation, defensive programming, code quality, naming, readability, refactoring, and maintainable program structure
• Algorithmic problem solving and data-structure reasoning at the level required by your course or project - without turning this ad into the separate Artificial Intelligence gateway
• Automation and scripting: repetitive tasks, file operations, batch workflows, simple utilities, and practical productivity scripts
• APIs and external data sources when appropriate to the learner’s level and objective
• Java programming when relevant: syntax, classes, OOP, collections, exceptions, and course/project support
• Visual Basic / VB.NET when relevant: language foundations, procedures, classes, forms or application logic within the scope of the learner’s environment
• Project development: planning a small program, breaking it into components, implementing incrementally, testing, improving, and explaining the final solution
• Exam, assignment, and course preparation through guided reasoning, practice problems, code tracing, debugging, and concept review - with emphasis on learning rather than receiving unexplained finished answers
Every session is adapted to your actual objective. We may use your course notes, syllabus, existing code, error messages, development environment, professional task, or carefully designed examples. I explain concepts visually, line by line, through traces and memory-state reasoning, and through practical scenarios so that you can connect syntax to program behavior.
My goal is not to make you dependent on copied code. I want you to learn how to read code, predict what it will do, break a problem into smaller parts, test assumptions, debug methodically, and design increasingly independent solutions.
