About Biswajit
I'm Biswajit Misra, a passionate musician, educator, and experienced guitar teacher specialising in modern progressive metal & rock music and music production. With over a decade of teaching experience, I've had the pleasure of guiding students of all levels on their musical journey.
My expertise lies in modern progressive metal & rock music, where I teach advanced techniques such as music theory, improvisation, and specialized guitar techniques. Additionally, I offer comprehensive instruction in music production, covering recording, production, MIDI programming, DAW knowledge, mixing, and mastering.
I am also an active musician and write music under the moniker Despite Earth. My Debut EP called Apotheosis, was premiered in Rolling Stone India and reviewed by Metal Has No Borders. This experience has further enriched my understanding of the genre and enables me to bring real-world insights into my teaching.
I completed the Grade 8 electric guitar exam by RSL (Rockschool Limited) and specialise in preparing students for Trinity, ABRSM, and RSL exams from Debut to Grade 8 levels. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I'm dedicated to helping you unlock your full potential as a musician through personalised lessons tailored to your interests and skill level.
