About Mia
After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UVM, I attended Brown University to get my Master's in Medical Sciences. I took the first year of medical school classes during this program and honed my ability to study and teach. I have taken the MCAT twice, so I know the hard work that goes into prepping for the test and applying to medical school. By being a tutor and a teaching assistant, I have figured out the key to teaching students and working with each person's individual educational needs.

I have two years of experience tutoring organic chemistry. I served as a TA for Advanced Neurobiology for a semester. I have taught numerous people my CARS and psychology tips and tricks for the MCAT. I am a creative person and work with students to determine the study method that is best for them. I also use visual representations and memorization techniques.
