I’m a French tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BA in French for Tourism and Hospitality. I specialize in helping high school and university students who find French film analysis and dialogue writing challenging. Film can feel complex, with dense language and layered meanings, but I love making it approachable.
My approach is creative and hands-on. I break down cinematic language into simple, digestible steps. Together, we explore dialogue, narrative, and visual storytelling in ways that make sense. I focus on helping students write with clarity, style, and personal expression. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing room for exploration and creativity.
I’m passionate about French New Wave, contemporary cinema, and critical theory, and I bring these interests into our lessons to keep them engaging. We analyze films, discuss techniques, and practice writing exercises that build confidence. I aim to make every student feel capable of interpreting and expressing complex ideas.
