About Jessa
Hi! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language. I specialize in teaching complete beginners and love seeing the progress my students make from day one. My approach is patient, relaxed, and full of humor—I believe that learning should be enjoyable, not stressful. I use games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling to help students understand grammar and build vocabulary. These creative tools make learning fun and help the language stick naturally. I also include real-life examples and role-playing to make lessons practical and engaging. Students quickly begin to recognize patterns, form sentences, and speak with growing ease. Many of my learners start off shy but end up speaking French with confidence. I take pride in helping them feel comfortable using the language in everyday situations. My teaching approach in French is focused on helping students gain confidence, fluency, and real-life communication skills.
