Since I was young I've been fascinated by the power of languages in shaping our thoughts and exposing individuals to different cultures and experiences. Moreover, I am a strong believer that languages have the capability of bridging cultural gaps and creating connections between individuals from different backgrounds. Additionally, growing up in a multi-diversified environment has allowed me to witness the power that language holds as a unifying power. This early experience has nourished my passion for exploring the process of language learning and acquisition. Based on that, my overall career of 18 years of experience revolved around language teaching for different age groups.
I strongly believe that there is no one size that can fit all. Teaching methodology should be tailored to meet multiple intelligences and to fulfill different learning needs. it is different from one group to another, based on age, previous backgrounds and needs' assessments. Approaching adult learners is different than approaching young ones, but at the end, everyone should be able to make use of what was learned.
My lesson plan would be student-centered, where I do facilitate learning. Hands on, practice and discussions help in developing any learner's skills; especially when it comes to language.
