About Nancy
I`m an experienced IELTS tutor who has helped over 100 students from diverse backgrounds achieve their desired scores (6.5 and above). I`m also a former non-native English speaker from Vietnam who achieved an IELTS score of 8.0, enabling me to move to the UK and pursue my career as an GCSE English teacher in secondary school.
Therefore, I understand the challenges of mastering the English language as a non-native English speaker, and I`m committed to share my knowledge and experience to help you learn English more effectively.
I hold a Master`s degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Essex, where I ranked first in my department, and won the prize for the Best Postgraduate Dissertation. I also hold PGCE and TESOL qualifications
My class is usually very light-hearted, calm, and positive.
