I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics, passionate about making advanced concepts accessible to everyone. My teaching is especially tailored for non-STEM majors, where the goal isn’t just to compute but to understand, connect, and appreciate the beauty of mathematics. I believe maths is not a fortress of symbols but a landscape of ideas, patterns, and relationships waiting to be explored. I focus on the why behind them. I use everyday analogies a coffee cup’s curve, a music chord’s harmony, a city’s street grid to bring abstract ideas to life. Historical context is another key tool in my lessons, revealing how theories evolved from human curiosity and practical needs. This approach makes even the most intimidating concepts feel natural and grounded. Over the years, I’ve worked with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and many who once carried a deep-seated “math phobia.” I’ve seen the transformation that happens when learners realise maths isn’t an enemy it’s a lens to see the world more clearly.
